How do I download the app for iOS/iPadOS, the download button is greyed out "Purchased"?

Some users are affected by an App Store bug where previously an app purchased on tvOS is not downloadable on iOS/iPadOS. We have contacted Apple about the issue, but some users have resolved the problem by installing an iOS/iPadOS upgrade (probably any version upgrade will do), or by restoring the device from backup.

How do I remove my account?

Login to your stream set of favorites dashboard and add ?beta=true parameter to the end of the url, you should see a trash can icon next to the stream or favorites set id. Clicking the trash can and confirming the removal removes the account, stream set and all saved favorites. Please note that public stream and favorites sets are not removable, we suggest you just clear their content if you want to get rid of them.

How do I remove favorites using Apple TV?

If you manage favorites locally (not using favorites dashboard), you can remove them by accessing the favorites menu and holding the touch surface button for a few seconds. The favorited items will turn orange so that they can be named. Hold the surface button again for a few seconds. The favorited items will turn red and you can remove them one by one by clicking the surface button normally.

Yes, you can define how muting works when entering and exiting fullscreen. Just head up to tvOS Settings app > Apps > QuadStream and observe the "Unmute fullscreen stream" and "Mute other streams" toggles under the "When entering fullscreen" section, and "Unmute all streams" and "Mute all streams" toggles under the "When exiting fullscreen" section.

Can I use QuadStream with only one active stream?

Yes, you can even adjust the app to better support this use case by heading to tvOS Settings app > Apps > QuadStream and toggling the "Menu button leaves the app" and "Stop other streams while on fullscreen" under the "Fullscreen general" section.

I mainly watch videos, can I disable automatic looping?

Yes, head up to tvOS Settings app > Apps > QuadStream and observe "Disable automatic looping" and "Toggle stop automatically on end" toggles under the "Playback" section.

I entered the website url of YouTube stream and it just keeps loading?

Please observe that you need the stream url (eg. .m3u8 ending url) for the stream to work. Twitch streams resolve automatically with twitch:channel shorthand or even with the channel website url, but for YouTube you need to use eg. Streamlink CLI with --stream-url option to obtain the stream URL.

My stream just keeps loading, what gives?

Try opening the stream URL on a browser, if you have a Mac or iOS/iPadOS device you can use Safari to observe whether the stream is supported also on tvOS. Please note that if a website becomes visible when testing the stream URL, it most probably will not work and you need to obtain the pure stream URL.

How do I adjust closed captions and subtitles?

If the text is not burnt into video, please refer to tvOS wide settings related to showing closed captions and subtitles.

What is the source for streams in discover streams menu?

The streams in country list are publicly available streams listed and released to public domain by https://iptv-org.github.io project. For legal information see https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv#legal.

QuadStream is not supporting my stream or use case, how to get a refund?

Please ask for a refund directly from Apple using their tools, and please do so if you are not happy with QuadStream, the idea is very much not to rob or defraud anyone.
